About Myself
This is the personal blog site for Warlic at Artix Entertianment, LLC. I started this blog to discuss all things related game development and music composition. My career in games started in 1996 when I first moved to Boston, MA to pursue a bachelor’s degree in songwriting from Berklee College of Music. I got a retail job working for Software ETC in Boston’s Prudential Center, which eventually became Gamestop through a series of (unfortunate) large buyouts and mergers… I worked at that store for 7 years and watched the most exciting era in video game history. After leaving Gamestop, I went back to school for new media production at Emerson College, where I studied new media production. My graduate program was cut short when I was offered a job at Sonivox. They were starting a mobile gaming division and I was hired to write game music and to design flash prototypes for their mobile games. After Sonivox closed their mobile applications division, I moved to Florida to work for Artix Entertainment, LLC, where I was responsible for creating several flash mini-games on Ebilgames.com, Lead Producer for MechQuest.com, Bladehaven, as well as composing music for all of their games. My career has been an interesting ride and I feel very fortunate to have been able to pursue both of my life’s passions, music and video game.
